Lance's 36th Birthday!

Lance's Birthday came at an interesting time this year with the passing of Grandma the week before. My friend Dani who lives in Colorado now had brought up the idea of sending her Husband out here to California and letting them have a Surf Weekend! We had everything planned, plane tickets bought, days taken off work etc when we found out that I would be going to Utah for a Funeral that same weekend! Thankfully our friends were able to change their tickets so we could postpone the trip and Lance was his usual understanding self so he changed his plans from surf weekend to single Dad weekend! One of the many reasons I love him..not sure I could be quite so easy going!!! So we celebrated with the girls the night before I left and had brownie Sundaes and then it was off to Utah for me and Fun Weekend with Dad for the girls!
