Ready for Christmas...well almost!

So as soon as I put this Santa hat on Maddi she immediately started cracking up and still thinks its the funniest thing! Too bad she doesn't think Santa is that funny. She's pretty much terrified of him :) Purdue has this HUGE Christmas tree in one of the commons buildings on Campus and last week for playgroup we went to see it along with the Purdue Bell Choir which was SO pretty.

Maddi 8 Months Old

So as soon as I posted Maddi's 7 month old pictures I realized that she would be 8 months old 2 days later! Time definately flys by faster with Maddi then it did with Mia.

Aunt Jilly's Visit

We had such a blast with Aunt Jilly! It was SO cold while she was here but we still mangaged to get out to the outdoor iceskating rink and take Mia for her first time as well as hit the Children's Museum with all their fun Holiday Stuff. We miss you Jilly!

So here's some random pictures! One morning Mia and Maddi woke up in the best moods and Maddi sat on Mia's lap forever just playing and laughing and it was cute.

The other pictures are after getting ready for church that sunday, and Mia just cracks me up because if she isn't doing a cheesy smile in a picture than she love to do this face...I don't know why but it makes us laugh!

Thanksgiving

So I'm a little behind on postings but here's our Thanksgiving pictures! We had a fun and ate WAY too much and the next day after some serious "Black Friday" shopping we had fun decorating the tree.

Maddi 7 Months Old!

Little Bit of Sunshine

Despite the cold weather we've been having lately Mia has found her little bit of sunshine in her new found sunglasses that we pulled out of a drawer the other day. Funny how they were never that interesting during the summer!

Little Mommy

Mia has been SO into being a "little Mommy". It totally brings back some of my little girl memories and so fun to see her mimick some of the "good" things I do. We won't talk about some of the other things she mimicks! So the first picture is how I find baby dolls in my house, Mia loves to put her babies down for naps just like I put her and Maddi down for naps (complete with blankies and books) and it just cracks me up to walk in a room and find this every now and then. I included some pictures of Maddi sleeping so you can see how right Mia actually got it and also because I think little Maddi sleeps so funny.... just relaxin! And much to Maddi's dismay at times Mia likes to practice her mommy skills on HER....like the day I found Mia "pretend" feeding Maddi. Maddi was not having the whole spoon in mouth with nothing on it thing!
