Mia Turns 7!!!

 I can't believe she is already 7! This year was a Birthday Party year for us and Mia really wanted a swimming party. Although it's warm here March is still a little too cold for the neighborhood pool so we opted for the community indoor pool where they have a fun water slide and diving board.We swam for awhile, then headed over to park outside for pizza, cake, and playing.  I think everyone had a blast! And 20 kids, and 3 hours later Lance and I crashed for the rest of the night! :)

 Birthday Dinner of choice...Meat Loaf and Potatoes. This has been Mia's Birthday Dinner of Choice since she was 4!

 Mia has been saving her money for over a year now so that she can buy and American Girl Doll (specifically Molly).

 For her Birthday Lance and I surprised her by contributing the last little bit to her savings and having Molly waiting for her!

Dr. Suess Joy School Day

We had lots of fun celebrating Dr. Seuss's Birthday the last time it was my turn to teach Joy School. The kids each brought their favorite Dr. Seuss book and we had fun reading them all. They also made some crazy hats. I always love to see how much fun Ella has getting to participate. :)

Star of the Week!

Mia has been looking forward to the day her name would get drawn to be star of the week in her class! In her class each day they get to bring in something to share with the class. As soon as she found out about Star of the Week she knew 2 things she FOR SURE wanted to bring and that was her Sisters! I thought it was so cute how excited she was to show them off to her class. So during "her" week I brought Maddi and Ella in at the end of the day and they got to sit up in front of her class with Mia and the class interviewed them. They got to ask them questions and make comments. Ella and Maddi were a little shy but SO excited as well and the class seemed pretty entertained. I wish I had taken a video!

"Winter" Camping Trip

We had to take advantage of one last Camping trip before the baby is born so we went with some friends in February. Thankfully you can get away with this in California although it did cool down A LOT at night and I think we had to take FOUR middle of the night trips to the bathrooms which made it pretty hard to stay warm, but once the morning hit, it warmed right up!

I left the water running a little too long! The Girls found this fascinating. :)

Valentines Day in Disneyland

We decided we couldn't let our passes expire before fitting in ONE LAST TRIP to Disneyland. Valentines Day seemed like the perfect day to go. There were hardly any lines and we enjoyed our last day there. :)
