A cute friend invited a bunch of us to have a National Donut Day celebration at the park. We decided last minute to join them. A fun afterschool activity!
Macee just loved the story of Jesus being ressurected. I've used these little cut-outs (from the Nursery Manual) to teach this story in Nursery, when I did sharing time lessons in primary and with my own kids at home. They ALL love it and are so amazed with something so simple. We laminated the pieces and have somehow managed to not lose them all these years. Macee had been asking me to do this story over and over so I asked her to do a lesson for the family one evening. So glad I recorded it...a precious memory!
I'll never forget those mornings after Max was born. It always took us so long to get everyone ready....a baby really slows you down...but as I look back at pictures, they are such precious memories. No matter that beds aren't made, everyone still in pajamas with crazy hair, and no one has eaten breakfast because on this particular morning this sweet little baby (who had probably kept me up a good portion of the night) and his first bath in the baby tub was all that anyone was interested in.
I have a similar pic of Macee on her first beach trip that looks a ton like this one of Max. Snug and cozy under the nursing cover up and fast asleep! d
