Our little Fam

Ella in all her glory!

Hamming it up with Mia and Maddi at the family talent show...we discovered that she has a very outgoing side to her personality on this trip.

Cutie Pie

My cute Mia...getting so old!

Mia and cousin Aleia on the Alpine Slides

Ella and I on the Alpine Slide....this was a lot of fun AFTER we made it up the ski lift. Sitting on a ski lift high in the air with a 2 year old is pretty scary! Ella was awesome and sat really still....but I found myself wondering WHY I had decided this was a good idea! Thankfully we both survived. :)

Maddi and Lance cruising at top-speed down the Alpine Slide....She told him she wanted to go FAST.

Gotta love GoGurt!

My kids think this is the biggest treat.

The "Kids" Table!

Always an interesting place at mealtimes.

Maddi my little homebody who loves her sleep was pretty ready to be done with this whole traveling thing probably the day before we got to the reunion but thanks to Allie and Aunt Jen she made it through. :)

Aunt Jen, Liam, Maddi and Mia

Sisters!

Isabel and Mia telling Jokes for their joint Talent

All of Maddi's summer dreams were fulfilled when she got to see Aunt Jen at the Reunion. This was all she could talk about the couple months leading up to it.

So fun to hang out with our cousins at the pool!

So Cute I loved these pictures!

Our Big Trip: Visits with the Nelson families

On our way out to a Family Reunion for my family in Colorado we got to stop for a day in Salt lake and see Lance's parents and two sisters there which was a lot of fun, and then got to stay at his brother's house in Colorado for 3 days before the Reunion. It was our first time visiting with them at their house and we had a blast! Can't wait to do it again. Lance soaked up the guy time with his only brother, and the girls and I soaked up lots of Girl time! Mia and Maddi thought riding in a "teenager's" car was just about the coolest thing ever, and I think we thoroughly wore Ashley and Chelsey out with all out with our little balls of energy.

Pretty Toes!

Aunt Karen fulfilled a life-long wish for these two when she invited them to get pedicures at a REAL nail salon. :) The felt very fancy the whole time!

All the Girls!

Lance and his brother woke up early one morning to take the girls on their first fishing trip. They didn't have much luck with the fish but caught quite a few crawdads.

Our little pile of kittens sleeing in the bed WE were supposed to sleep in. We found them like this on a few occasions during the trip...and snapped a few pictures BEFORE returning them to their sleeping bags on the floor. :)

Trying out some bull-riding!

The next day at Jump Street!

Arriving in Colorado...Ashley read the girls their bedtime story

Posing for pictures

After our first stop in Utah we discovered that Ella is a little Ham and was not shy at all performing for anyone who would watch her! I guess her and Mia have more in common than just their looks...:)

The older cousins taking the younger cousins to get an icy.

I think we have become the biggest wimps after living in California because we were SO hot in Utah AND Colorado. Ella was enjoying the shade and a smoothy with Grandma Nelson.

Trying out a ride at the 24th of July Carnival

As soon as we got to Grandpa's house the girls went for ride in his cool new car!

Trying to get comfortable on day 2 driving to Salt Lake

Think it's time to retire blankie??

It just got better and better as the nap went on

We left our house at 5:30 in the evening right after Lance got off work and 15 minutes into the drive we turned around and saw Maddi like this....

Parenting Solutions from a 6 year old....Ella seemed to like it....hmmmm....maybe I should try this! haha

I put Mia in charge of Ella while I was finishing up the last minute packing/house cleaning and found them like this.
