My BirthDAY. :)

Macee was actually a little hesistant about getting in the water as the pool season began here but it only took about 2 weeks, she figured out the life jacket and has never looked back. A total fish just like her sisters!

It's kind of funny that Ella was "Graduating" from preschool because she only attended 1 year at this school and even then only attended 1 of the 3 days they offer each week! It was pretty darn cute though anyway!

Ella's good little Buddy Brad.

This preschool is run through the local highschool in their child development class. There is an actualy preschool teacher but there is also one highschool assigned to each preschooler every day. Ella loved doing puzzles with the highschool student she was assigned to and having that one-on-one attention.

My actual Birthday ended up being one of our craziest days! Which is why we celebrated the next day!  Had to wake up early to do a long run with friends in preparation for a half marathon Lance and I were running in June,  hosted a bday party for a friends daughter at our neighborhood pool, And Ella had a preschool graduation! In the midst of the crazy I had some friends drop by some goodies like this delicious cake from my friend Chelsi! Too sweet! I told Lance as my Birthday was approaching that I really didn't NEED anything for my Birthday. It was just refreshing feeling like my life is so full.

Little Kid Disney Trip...just couldn't stay away

A group of Moms who all have season passes to Disneyland were meeting up at Disney about a week and a half after we we came back from our BIG Disney trip... wasn't sure I'd be up for going back butI decided last minute to take just Ella and Macee for the day. It was so fun being with just the two of them doing all the little rides!

Macee's 2nd Birthday May 22nd 2014

The day of Macee's birthday I decided to take Macee and Ella to a bounce house place for toddlers because my precocious 2 yr old can't can't enough of climbing on things, jumping off of things, sliding down things etc etc  and this was the perfect fit!!! Some of her little friends were able to meet up with us which made it all the more enjoyable and it was really fun for me to take some time out to just PLAY with Macee and have it all be about her! We sent sliding down the steep slides together cracking up laughing. I chased her through all the obstables courses and after the hour and a half we were all exhausted and ready for nap time!

While Macee was naping I got to make some Minnie Mouse cupcakes for her family party!

She knew she had to wait till after dinner for the party to begin and eat her cupcakes but tempation got the best of her after about 30 min later and this is how I found her...

After watching her sisters open presents the last couple of months she was READY for her turn and knew right what to do with those beautiful bags! :)

Cake Time...Finally!

She loved being the star of the show for the night!

A Present from Grandma and Grandpa Nelson

We love Macee Joy!
One of the happiest people I know! Always so full of life, exctied for adventure (one of the bravest children I know!), loves to make her family laugh. She's one of my most polite children never forgetting to say "Tank you", "Love ooo", or "I sowwee". She brings so much light and Joy to our life like her name suggests! One of my favorite thing that she says these days (now that she's 2 1/2 as I write this) is (when I get her out of her crib in the morning) "I awake!! Mom I awake!!" Like it's the most thrilling announcment and aren't we all so excited about this?! Always brings a smile to my face. This is probably more true of her now (at 2 1/2 as I write this) then it was at this time but it's so fun to watch her go from the wandering aimlessly, getting into just about everything w no ryme or reason  little baby toddler to the little girl toddler that has more of a focus to her play, and especially desiring to play with (and more importantly being able to keep up with) her big sisters! As I write this on a Sunday afternoon (September 21st 2014 to be exact) I'm sitting in the front doorway watching all four girls lost in a world of Greek Myths, playing happily in the grass. I believe Macce was given the role of "Persephone". :) I love watching her lauguage explode and hearing her express her thoughts "Mommy I tired". Another funny one is everytime I ask her if she needs her bum changed she says... "Oh no my Daddy changed my Bum". Like oh he already took care of that no need to check! (total lie). haha Funny little girl! A friend and I were talking the other day about 2 yr olds and how they get a bad rap but how both of us utterly adore this phase when you really think about it! I did tell her that it's much easier to love this age when I don't also have a newborn baby in tow like I did with my first 2 two year olds... but they are pretty darn cute at this age nonetheless!

Day 5 Disney Trip

We started off our last day with a Character breakfast with Minnie Mouse at the Plaza Inn on Main Street. We always feel like these are worth the splurge every couple years! So great for the littles to see all the characters when they come to your table (no waiting in line!) and the food is delicious as well! Great start to the day!

Macee was so funny...she really WANTED to like the characters and be brave but inside you could tell she was slightly terrified of them (all except Minnie I think).

Tea Cups!

Space Mountain with these two crazies! ;)

Toon Town

All in All such a wonderful trip! We continue to be Disney fans!!!!
