Rock Painting!!!

Hanging out at Erik and Jodi's house

"Queen" Isabel telling everyone a story. The kids were so funny and made up this game up standing on the "Throne" and telling a short little story. Isabel always told a very accurate version of a real story, Luke's stories incorporated a narration of everything going on around him, and Mia's stories looked and sounded more like angry venting, with a lot of jumping around, although, by the end of the trip she opted to just sing "made-up" songs to everyone.
"...and she was crying and then there was a boom...." I can't remember the rest but that won't make sense to anyone but my family! haha.

Cute Cousins

Cooking with Uncle Erik

I love both of these pictures of Luke and Mercedes.

Maddi learned to say the word "Cheese" while on our trip, now she says it every time she sees a camera, and this is what she's saying in this picture.

Something Funny

So I am really TRYING to get caught up on my blog but life has been crazy lately so evenutally I'll get there, but in the meantime I didn't want to forget something Mia said the other day

She said to Lance one day, "Daddy do you think I'm pretty"
And he said, " I do"
and she said, "You are absolutely right!"

Who knew it was a quiz question! Good thing he passed. :)

Alkai Beach

So did I mention that I one of our favorite parts of our trip was going to beaches up and down the West Coast?!!! Here we are at Alkai beach where we were watching my Brother play in a Volleyball Game.

Seattle!

We were so excited when we got to Seattle, the last leg of our Month long trip!

The Day we got to Seattle it was uncharacteristically warm and Sunny and stayed that way throughout our entire trip. It was so much fun getting to do lots of outdoor stuff. This is us at Green Lake...our Popsicle Picture!

Mia was thrilled when her cousin Isabel let her borrow her big girl bike complete with all the elbow/knee pads and helmet!
