With kids it doesn't matter if it's 3 days or 10 it's all the same stuff.
I wondered if it would have the same magic as the first time and was pleasantly surprised to see that it really did! I don't know how they do it there but you can go for days on end and you may be totally tired but you never feel over-stimulated or stressed out (the way I feel the second I walk into a Chucky Cheese, or Carnival!)
Just pure fun...and family bonding time!
(the Girls were coming up with a few other fitting adjectives of their own for this one!)
#1 The Bear: Loving and Strong
Mia #2 was the Salmon: Instinctive and Strong willed
Maddi the Eagle: Intelligent and Brave
Ella the Wolf: Wise and Loyal

This was the coolest Ferris-Wheel in California Adventure. Your cart would slide around while the whole thing was going in a circle (if that makes sense). Really fun!

Waiting in line....we were really lucky that we didn't have to wait in many lines at all
but after a trip with Grandpa and his wheel-chair access pass, it did take SOME getting used to.

Ella was a little concerned on this ride!

Improvising!
I find myself using my jackets as outfits for the girls quite often...I've gotten pretty good at turning them into dresses and skirts....maybe in the future I'll just get really good at packing extra clothes!!!! :)

World of Color was even better the second time around. We sat (or stood I should say) really close and had a great view. Amazing!
I think we are making a tradition out of having it rain on our last day of Disney trips! As we headed out on our second day it was very drizzly and got worse and worse (and being the smart people that we are we didn't even THINK to bring our awesome Disneyland ponchos that Grandpa Nelson bought for us all on our first trip! So Lance ran to Target in the morning and bought the last ponchos they had...which were adequate but definately NOT as nice as our ones waiting at home for us!) :) It was fairly miserable from about 9-12 and we did as many covered rides as possible, but once it hit noon the sun came out and it was warm/hot the rest of the day!

Our friends were very nice to watch Maddi and Ella for a minute so the 3 of us could go on Thunder Mountain.

Ella wanted no part of the water action so she and I sat safely on the sidelines and had fun snapping pictures. There is nothing better than watching my girls and Lance play together. Too cute.
It's funny because they were pretty insistent that we pack swim suits that they could wear while we rode the river raft ride in case we got splashed....but somehow it didn't bother them to run through the water fountains with all their clothes on and purposely get wet! :)
I was so nervous to see how she would react when she came out but she was all smiles, and she and Lance headed right back for a second time!

Ella would have LOVED this but was taking her nap ...We'll definately have to take her to see Pooh Bear next time.
