Maddi Turns 6!

For Maddi's Birthday this year she asked to go on a date with Lance and I to celebrate. :) She picked Red Robin. What a fun night!

Mia's Baptism

What a special day for our whole family. In our Church children have the opportunity to be baptized when 8 years old. By making this choice they are choosing to make a covenant with their Heavenly Father. By making this covenant they promise to take upon themselves the name of Jesus Christ, to always remember him, to keep his commandments, and serve him to the end. Each week when they come to church on Sunday and partake of the sacrament they renew this covenant. Mia has known for a long time that she wanted to baptized and as soon as she turned 7 she was counting down the day! Literally! She has always had a strong desire to choose the right and please her Heavenly Father and it was so fun to prepare with her for this special day. She was blessed to have her Grandma and Grandpa Nelson, Grandma Tresa, and many special friends with her on this day which just added to all the joy. :)
