Funny
This morning after getting off the phone with someone I was explaining/getting on to Mia about why it's rude to whine and cry and ask me for things while I'm trying to talk on the phone and when I got to the end of my little "lecture" she says, "You are ABSOLUTELY right". All I could do was laugh. There's not much you can say to that. :)

Time Out
Valentines Day

We had a fun Valentines Day this year. We were hoping to get snowed in like last year but since that didn't happen we settled for making cookies, delivering treats to our neighbors, and heart-attacking Lance's office at school. And I recieved a fun surprise the day before Valentines Day when the Fed Ex guy showed up at door with a package of fresh cut flowers and a cute note from Lance which just totally made my day. Out Cold

So a couple weekends ago we had been out as a family running errands and as usual everything took longer than planned so our girls, were hungry, and tired driving home and both fell asleep. Nap time in our house is sacred time though and even though Mia could have lasted through her nap without eating lunch we knew Maddi REALLY needed to eat so we decided to just wake them up when we got home, feed them lunch and put them back down at the SAME time so we could have our nice little naptime break! They were both SO out though, that we thought, well if we just lay them on the floor they'll realize their not in bed and wake up because both Lance and I have the hardest time waking kids up (it just feels wrong :)). It was so funny though because we laid them on the floor next to each other this was the scene, both just out like a light, not moving, and looking more like they are dead than just sleeping. So funny. And apparently Maddi sleeps with her eyes halfway open...who knew!
Snow Day
We've gotten a lot of snow during the last month and a couple weeks ago the girls and I were getting bored waiting for Lance to get home, so I decided to take them outside and shovel the driveway for Lance. Mia decided to help too and she was so cute working so hard that I had to take a video of it!

Maddi 10 Months Old
It stinks that just as babies start to really develop their little personality and smiling and laughing all the time, you can never catch it on camera because they have also become MOBILE! This is my attempt at taking Maddi's 10 Month pictures. It seemed to work a little better when Mia was sitting next to her holding her down! Haha :)
