Right after my Dad's visit Ella decided we needed a little more excitement in our life and while I was making dinner she was having a great time jumping on the couch until she fell off backwards and sliced her head open on our coffee table on the way down! After a trip to Urgent Care, and 4 Staples later, we came back home to actually eat our dinner! She was such a little trooper and didn't cry at all until after they put the staples in. I wish I could say that this "traumatic" experience has taught our little monkey a lesson about jumping on the couch but in true Nelson Girl form the only scar she has is the one on her head and she is still just as fearless as ever! I'm counting on this boding well for her character later in life. :)
