Random August

What a funfilled month August was. Busy, Sunny, with just enough downtime at home to make it feel like a REAL summer! :)

We had fun attending the "Annie" play that our friends from school and a couple of neighbors were in!  

Trip to the Mall means a trip to the pet store to see puppies!

Trying our hand at gardening...again...too bad we picked the HOTTEST month of the year to begin!! I belive this was also the month we decided to pay the extra money and get air conditioning in our house! SO worth it!

Park Day... it was a hot one...look at those little red cheeks.  

Having a pool in the neighborhood has made it so our kids have learned to swim on their own just by frequent exposure and SHEER desire!! (We have little fish) But we decided it was time to try some swim lessons to learn some technique!

This one has a just a little touch of OCD. :) When she empties the dishwasher (her most frequent chore) she can't stand it if the kids cupboard is disorganized and even thought she doesn't want to, she can't bear to begin the unloading process unless she's first reorganized everything in the cupboard first! And then she gets upset at anyone who messes things up in the meantime! :)  

Found this old pic of Maddi as a two year old and thought it looked so much like Macee! 

Lance's parents decided to come visit us at the end of August to go to Disneyland with us once our passes opened up again (with our socal season passes we get the cheapest ones which blocks out Sat, Sun, Most of the Summer, and Holidays). Ella was really excited when she heard the news so she wrote them a letter!
