One of our Summer Bucket List items was going rollar skating. Finally in August we made it happen one night for FHE. What a blast! They have these great little things you can rent called "Skate Mates" that make it much more doable for little kids just learning to actually have fun and make it around the rink. Macee tried out some skates but quickly realized it was WAY better to ditch the skates and just RUN with the Skate Mate around the rink. It was cracking me up how fast she was going. I think she loved it because with something to hold onto it was much harder to fall so she could just keep speeding up!
