Ella really only has 2 little friends her own age that she sees on a regular basis and they are both boys. It's funny because they actually look quite a bit alike, and their names are Brian and Brad, so she calls them both "B". Here she is sitting in a bucket of water with her friend Brad.
We've had some bursts of really hot hot weather this spring and one week the girls were dying to go to the pool but I wasn't feeling quite up to it yet, so I told them they could put swimsuits on and I would fill up some buckets with water and they could just go crazy in the backyard. They thought it was great, and when our neighbors stopped by to play they joined in on the fun. It was hillarious watching them get so excited about a few buckets of water!

what a fun and creative idea for the kids. Love it! Remember when we were little and would play in the sprinklers, but Seattle was always a little too cold for that, so to warm up we would lay on the cul de sac pavement?! I love those memories
