Lance helping Mia make a leaf collage for a school project. She had to decide how she wanted to sort them and she chose to do it by color. In California you don't get a whole lot of variety in the leaf colors during the "fall" but she managed to notice quite a few differences between them enough to come up with at least 6 categories.
Mia told me this was her "Picasso" Painting....done in chalk!
Obviously I am the picture taker in the family but Lance actually REQUESTED that I take this picture of him and Ella. She is reaching the age where sleeping in our arms is rare so he was excited one night when she was having a hard time with something and they got to cuddle up on the couch together. And this picture does give a great shot of the Nelson Mullet growing in nicely. :)
