Happy as can be...eating and more eating... and lounging in her beach chair.
It's not often that you move to a new place and get to spend your Birthday with your really good friends but this year Lance had arranged to have my friend Dani invite me on a girls day out while the Dads took the kids to the beach. That morning Lance took care of the kids and got all the beach/lunch stuff ready while I was just taking my time getting ready and we all headed over to the Henrie's house to go our separate ways. When we got there however the Henries said they had a suprise for me in the house and out of a closet popped our other good friends the Rands from San Diego. I was completely surprised! Lance had inivited them to come up for my Birthday so instead of going our separate ways we ALL spent the day at the beach (one of my most favorite places to be) and then headed back to our house that evening where Lance had prepared dinner for everyone. It was such a relaxing, fun, day. And so fun to be with good friends.

We wished we lived closer to all of you! Sniff, sniff. Date nights and just general "friend stuff" has been the biggest challenge for us in Minnesota.
