Well the Job search is over for us and after a month of interviews, lots of time spent weighing the options, and a whole lot of prayer Lance accepted a position in Ventura California! This was one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make and California was probably one of the last places we expected to go but now that we've gotten our answer and everything is settled we feel really good about it and are getting so excited to get there!
And it doesn't hurt at all that two of our really really good friends live in Southern California....one of them RIGHT in the city Lance will be working in. It's crazy how things work out.
So wish us luck in finding an affordable rental!!! Ahhhh :)
In an effort to save a little more money we will most likely not be going out to Purdue for Lance's Graduation. It would have been so fun to see him walk and see some of our old Purdue friends....so for anyone planning a Disneyland trip make sure to look us up...we'll be about an hour from Disneyland!

I am SO JEALOUS!!! Seriously, I am sitting here feeling sorry for myself. Can I move to Ventura too and have all my friends back? :-(
But I'm happy that you guys all get to live close by...sort of. It would be a lot better if you were all living close to each other in West Lafayette!!!
Oh we are so jealous! My girls are currently walking around with the Henri's Christmas card asking when they can play with Gracie and Ashby again.:)
Fun times though. I am amazed that you are all in the same area. It will be nice to get settled and be near friends. Are you sad to leave WA?
We're SO excited! Can't wait to have you guys living close again. We're going to have way too much fun!

Yes we will be sad to leave Washington! We kind of knew for awhile now that Spokane would be temporary but living 4 hours from most of my family and 6 hours from Lance's sister will be hard to give up. I'm just glad we soaked it all up while we could. One of my sister'd told us..."Well once you live in California you find that people just start to visit because there are so many other great things right in the area" (like Disneyland) and we are already finding that to be true, with some of our family being down there for one thing or another.
How exciting Kathleen! A job! Let us know what it's like. :) How awesome you will be close to the Henries. Someday we will have to come visit you all!
Yay! It's about time you lived closer to me! We have Disneyland passes, so we'll have to meet up there sometime too! Congratulations on the job!!
Hehehehe At least we will see you during the summers! welcome to Ventura... You guys will love it!
