New Shoes and New Hair

Anyone that knows me knows that I RARELY cut my kid's hair. My kids are always bald in the front and grown lots of hair in the back, so rather then try and even it out and wait for the front to catch up, we just let the mullet flow and the bonus is that we can do pig-tails pretty early on! So right before Mia turned 4 we decided to take her to get her hair cut for litterally the 2nd time in her life!!!! :) Looking back at these pictures it's hard for me to believe how long her hair had gotten. So anyway this was the big haircut day, where I actually let them take a good chunk off (this was very hard for Lance) but we thought it turned out cute and Mia was excited that I would actually let her wear it down. :) The haircut place we go to is brilliant because anytime your child get's their haircut they give them a coupon for a free kid's icecream at ColdStone which is practically next door, so it's like how do you turn that down and then of course once you are there, what parent is going to watch their child eat icecream without getting something for themselves? Well maybe some parents would, but not Lance and I, so here we are enjoying our "free" icecream.

Oh and the girls needed new shoes and I took pics of them because Lance was so excited that they could have "little girl skater shoes". My husband the guy who wears shorts and skate shoes all year round has to find the joy in having 3 girls!
