Madelynn's 2nd Birthday came while life was in a whirlwind with Ella being in the NICU still and with Mommy having just come home from the hospital a few days before but we still had a good time celebrating. Poor Maddi ended up getting sick that night but she was a trooper and did her duty opening presents (she had plenty of help from Mia, Gracie and Ashby) and getting appropriately excited about everything. :) Happy Birthday Madelynn. At 2 you are our precoutious little girl who keeps us on our toes. You have also made us laugh so much with variety of things you manage to get into, the messes you make, and the accidents you have. Listening to you talk is one of the cutest things ever and we love your sassy personality. We love that you love to cuddle and while it may take you awhile to warm up, when you decide you like someone or something, you are completely committed (take blankie for instance! ) We love you Maddi.

This post totally makes me miss you guys so much! Maddi's party was so fun and we loved being able to be there for it. Your girls are so cute! I especially love the pictures of them with their "NICU" babies.
