So a week before Valentines Day we were looking at the calendar and I said, "Lance guess what?!" , "We have NOTHING on the calendar for this weekend!" Visions of organizing projects, and cleaning, were swimming around in my head when Lance said, "Really?! Hey why don't we go to Arizona for the Gilbert Temple Open House!" Haha this totally says it all about the way we think! So as you can see the random trip to AZ won out over my cleaning projects and I'm so glad it did! We had actually been wanting to take our kids to a temple open house for awhile and had been waiting for one that was close enough and good timing so Gilbert AZ it was! It was only a 7 hr drive so we were able to drive down Friday night, do the temple open house on Sat, church on Sunday and then drive home!
It was probably a good 2 hour wait outside before we could get in to see the temple and the girls were so cute and had such great attitudes, they said, "It was worth the wait!".
All done!
