I always get excited when I see kids use their imagination. Maybe its the teaching background, or the fact that my siblings and I came up with some pretty involved pretend games growing up (ie. thundercats, ewoks, house, lost etc etc) but I try to support creative pretend play whenever I can. With that being said, I won't say I don't have moments when I cringe at some of the things they come up with. This is what I saw one evening while cooking in the kitchen. A great science/cooking experiment with all our recycling, and the dirt from our garden! While this fun idea eventually had it's end, I'm glad we have the memory!
